WeAreHitched allows the guests at a wedding
to upload their images taken on a particular wedding day to one central
location.
So confident are we in the service that we offer a 'try before
you buy facility'. Registration on the site is free. That then takes you into a
members area with a 'live demo' allowing you to upload images of your
choice. Your free registration allows you to get a taster of what the site is
about, seeing how the system works, and getting to grips with truly how easy it
is to place digital images online. To upgrade to the full service just click on
'Create Wedding Album', it couldn't be easier.
On creation, a welcome
pack is despatched which will provide all the necessary items to make your
guests aware of your personal online gallery before the wedding, and remind them
to create their own albums within your gallery and upload their images once the
celebrations are over.

The Welcome Pack
The welcome pack contains:
100 WeAreHitched cards to slip into either the wedding invitations or (we suggest)
the thank you cards. These are annotated with the guest password which allows them access to the couples personal area on the site.
80 “Don’t Forget to upload your pictures” stickers to put on the envelope of your thank you cards.
WeAreHitched stickers to pop onto the back of any disposable cameras (again to
remind guests not only to log on, but also to remind them to use the flash function on the cameras – you’d be surprised at how many people forget!).

Pricing
The standard price to create a gallery is £50.00 and this can be created at any
time before the wedding. Once created the gallery is valid for a year from the
date of the wedding. At any point during this time all the uploaded images, or
just those required by the wedding couple can be requested on CD/DVD by
the bride and groom. After a year the account can be closed or for a
maintenance fee of £25.00 p.a we can keep your gallery active. Images are held for one year after the
closure of an account.
Prints
Prints can be ordered online, and once produced will be delivered direct. Print costs are as
follows:
- 5 x 7 Price 50p each
- 6 x 8 Price £2.00 each
- 8 x 10 Price £4.00 each
CD
Choose up to 50 favourite photographs, and we will supply them on CD in high
resolution format for a cost of just £10.00
Interactive DVD or Web Presentation
A slide show DVD that is playable on both a DVD player or PC can be
purchased for £25.00. Sit and watch your Wedding images with
friends and family, or alternatively this makes a great gift. An example
of how the DVD would work is available here
as a web presentation. We can also give you a web presence if
there are friends and family who did not make the wedding and you'd like
them to see your favourite moments from your day. For further details

You are getting married |

If you are getting married and would like an idea of how the site works you can view the 'demo mode'. Go
to the home page where you will be greeted with the welcome screen then click on Register Free
and put in basic details. |

the members area where you can run through the gallery by using the
Upload Photo(s) to transfer img to the site and View
Existing Photo(s) to view the uploaded img.
Once you are happy with the way the
service works Create Wedding Gallery upgrades your account to
a 'live system' |

You are then taken to the
payment gateway. Payment is either via PayPal, or alternatively you can
click continue and payment can be made via credit or debit card. |

Once payment has been
accepted, an email will be sent confirming the payment, a member of the
team will review the payment before the gallery goes live. You will be
allocated a wedding pass code for you to tell your guests. When they are
ready to upload pictures of your wedding to the site, they register with
the code you have given them, and this allows access to your gallery. You
may have an unlimited number of albums within your gallery. |

View your gallery: Takes
you to your Home page. The address for which will be
www.wearehitched.co.uk/yourfolder (the name you selected during sign
up). |

Browse allows you
to view your own album, and the albums of guests who have used your
wedding Pass Code within your gallery. |

Alternatively Search
your gallery for all uploaded img by either time or subject. |

You are a wedding guest |
|
If you have been to a wedding that has had a WeAreHitched Gallery created
you probably now wish to upload your photographs. Regardless of whether the
wedding is public or private to enable you to do this you must have the
Wedding Passcode given to you by the happy couple. Place this in the
passcode box and click 'Use Passcode' |

This now takes you into the members area where there are several options. In
the instance below when you upload photo's they will appear in Jane & Neil
White's Wedding. If you have been to another wedding who also have a gallery
with WeAreHitched, you can enter their Wedding Pass Code and you will then
be able to upload to that Wedding Gallery too.

associated with more than one wedding select the one you are

Uploading images |
|
Images are uploaded in batches of three. Higher resolution
images and large files take longer to upload than those of poorer
resolution. It is recommended you have a broadband connection for use with
this service, however if you do not, we would be happy to do the upload for
you, just send us a CD with the images that you like uploaded. This
service is currently free. For details of this, and FTP (file transfer
